Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty had always been a special movie to me. I remember my grandparents purchased the VHS for me when I was little.
Fast forward to now...I bought DD the DVD when it came out a couple years ago. We haven't watched it much until recently.
So she decided she needed a fancy Sleeping Beauty like her Belle dress.


I love the linen blend of fabric I used for the Belle dress. Luckily it comes in pink!

The dress was finished for her "Majesty" this week...and I think it turned out rather cute!




While I was at it I made a matching doll dress too!

I've been bad...

I should be blogging. Shame on me...it seems like there is just never enough time in the day!

I'm currently working on Sleeping Beauty dress. I'm hoping to finish it this weekend.

After that...I want to work on some new Mamu patterns that came in the mail!
First up "Emily"


I already have the pattern traced. So this one will be cranked out soon!

These patterns seem very well drafted and some even come with matching doll pattern!
I can't wait to get these started!

She loves Minnie Mouse!

If you ever ask my daughter who her favorite character is...the answer is Minnie Mouse (along with Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel...etc).

I've been thinking of a new "Minnie" outfit for her that is not a dres. She already has 2 "Minnie" dresses.

A coulpe of weeks ago I made her this top.


Well the outfit was not complete without a pair of matching pants. Last night the sewing bug bit me. I jumped out of bed and made a pair of matching capri pants.

Yeah! 1st Post!

Ok so this is my 1st post. A little later than planned...but at least I made it!
